The story of the Bronze Serpent is a wonderful wilderness story that tells us the truth about who we are. Join us for an interactive Bible study on this confounding text. 

Our lives include smooth sailing and times in the wilderness. We can learn a lot about how God is at work in our lives by telling our stories. Join us for an evening of journalling and mapping our own wilderness wanderings.

As we all journey towards reconciliation, it is critical that we understand the TRC's 94 Calls to Action. All are invited to gather on the steps of Northern United Place to read each of the Calls to Action out loud. Afterwards, we will gather at the Manse to bake bannock for Sunday communion. 

Death Cafés are open, positive spaces to talk about our final questions in a non-threatening way. What do you want at the end? How do you talk to your loved ones about your wishes? What are the options? What do you value most? Join us for an open forum to laugh, cry, and talk about the things we sometimes avoid. 

All are invited to wear orange as we share worship for Truth & Reconciliation Day. The service will include prayers for reconciliation, liturgical elements in Wiìliìdeh, and a traditional braiding exercise. 

You are invited to join with Christians all around the world in sharing communion. The communion table does not belong to YKUC, or the United Church of Canada -- it is open to all who seek to be fed. Everyone is invited to share in the feast, no qualifications necessary.

Our Book Club has been going strong for 10 years, meeting on the first Sunday of every month following worship. Our first book of the year is Lauren Groff's Matrix.
