Wednesday nights at the Manse (5612 50A Avenue) are small group gatherings devoted to spiritual practices, discussion, and friendship. There is often a creative element, too. This week, we'll be learning about the practice of Mindfulness meditation, as well as a few ways that Christians have been meditating for centuries.

Join us for worship as we wrestle with what it means to follow Jesus' call to discipleship. When the world around us in chaos, how do we know who to follow? The Bible tells us of fishermen who lay down their nets. We'll look at this story as we also pray for the people of Greenland, also people of the sea who find themselves in chaos this day.

This week, we'll be learning about the practice of Prayer Beads, and making our own strands to help us pray in a tangible, hands-on way.

A night out for friends and family. Meet at Kingpin Bowling Centre at 6pm. We'll bowl a couple of games and then head back to the church for strawberry sundaes! All ages welcome, absolutely no bowling talent required.

This Sunday, both our worship service and our book club discussion will centre around The Book of Joy, a collaboration by Daili Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Programming for children will be available. Join us!

It's Shrove Tuesday! All are welcome in our auditorium to mark the beginning of the Season of Lent with all the pancakes you can eat. Cash at the door, $8 per person.
